• Optional initialization script: The state of the Lua virtual machine is retained between script calls. You can use the initialization script to initialize variables or load libraries at startup. If you don't need this, leave the field in the options dialog empty.
• Standard Libraries included: You can select which standard libraries should be loaded in the options dialog.
• Debug your script: Use the RunScriptDebug method to test the scripts you write thoroughly. This method does not retain states between calles, but reloads the virtual machine and both scripts every time. Errors in the scripts are returned as plain text. Note that, if an error is encountered in the RunScript method, the plugin will crash.
• Multithreading: A script can run for a long time and return intermediate results to samurize. Background processing, downloading files from the internet including progress indicator, all that is possible very easy with just one function.
