I did what it said, but the result was incomplete. I googled for more info, but didn't find much, so I figured I would just have to do it the hard way. I was able to get just about everything working when I stumbled upon your site.

After looking at how you created the folders, I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong. Thank You.

I have two questions.

1. Shouldn't the InfoTip in the hidden, system file desktop.ini be the same as in the registry? I hand edited mine to get them back in sync.

2. Is there any way to get a text dump of the changes done? I'd love to see what was added and updated.

PS - Sorry, one more question. How do I get the folder's name to change when viewed by another computer? The other "My Something" folders change to "Mark's Something". I'd like the one I just created, "My Downloads" to do the same. Thx.

2. it is actually already a planned feature. i thought about exporting a .reg file, which is a plain text file, but can be imported easily.

3. lol, absolutely no idea. i guess it would have to be implemented seperately in a COM extension or something like that.
