The QCD Line Input Plugin has been updated to version 1.4. Only one thing changed: The previous version made the playing time display of QCD flicker. So this is only a cosmetic update, the functionality was not affected by that bug.

Previous Versions of the QCD LineIn plugin had problems with the Hyperthreading Feature of the Pentium 4. That was very difficult to find out as i don't own a Pentium

But thanks to Todd The Kiwi I was able to find and resolve the problem. Thank you very much for your patience and for letting me crash your computer so many times!

Now Hyperthreading-safe!

An update has just been released to Scope4D, which brings its version number to 6.02 now. The integrated particle system is much faster now, thanks to some fancy OpenGL extensions that are part of OpenGL 2.0. If your graphics hardware (and your drivers, of course) was compatible with version 6.01, you shouldn't have any problems with this version either. If you do, let me know.

The mesh loading process is somewhat faster now, and it shouldn't get in the way of your playing music any longer. The process priority of the visualization is lower now so you shouldn't have any problems using other programs at the same time.

This Quintessential plugin uses OpenGL graphics to enhance your visual experience with your music. It uses Pixel shaders, high detail models and textures and a particle engine.

You can go further and add your own models. 6 models are already included. Read the accompanying pdf file for instructions on how to add your stuff to Scope4D. And, if you are successful, please write an email or send me a pm to have your stuff included on this website for others to download!

ATTENTION: If you installed version 6.0 before, you have to remove the ini file and the models!


Scope4D 6.01 - Watch your music in 3D!

Enables you to use the line-in connection on your soundcard as input device in QCD. Spectrum analyser and visualization plugins respond to whatever is recorded, and you can let QCD make an MP3 file of it using an encoder plugin.
